Description
Travel Sketchbooks – mixed media & collage with Wendy Rhodes PhD
Saturday 22nd June 2024
All abilities welcome
What better way to remember and document your special holiday moments than record them in a sketchbook alongside foodie notes and receipts stuck in?
Taking your sketchbook with you everywhere, you’ll get into the habit of quick sketching on-site, then working into it with more detail and colour when you get back to the air bnb or villa! Used as a record of sights, sounds and smells it’s a document you can use for bigger artworks when you return home.
Test out different mediums from pencil, ink, colour washes, biro, wax crayon and more. You will be provided with an A6 sketchbook to fill through the course of the day, working from holiday photographs and memories. Learning new tips, techniques and drawing skills and how to pack a travel sketching kit. This course will inspire many more Holiday Sketchbooks.
Everything you need for this workshop is available to buy in our warehouse shop with an extra 5% discount.
