Caligo is an independent ink manufacturer with both the experience and the production facilities to create printing inks from dry pigment colours. They have control over the entire production process and formulate inks using light fast pigments.

Charbonnel have been producing fine inks in Paris since 1862 and have served many significant artists including Picasso, Renoir, Manet, and Degas. The professional quality Charbonnel intaglio inks have excellent standards of light fastness and also low acidity. They are created using ground pigments, binder and the finest polymerised linseed oil. These superlative inks are a great choice for producing lasting works of art.

Schmincke is a family run business founded in 1881 with the goal of creating innovative, premium products. The company was founded by two chemists who partnered their scientific expertise with traditional recipes to produce superior artists’ materials.

Schmincke lino print inks are water based and have been designed for use on lino blocks. The range includes 15 brilliant shades and 3 metallic effect colours which are easy to apply and which result in sharp prints and fast drying times. The inks are extremely light fast and offer excellent colour intensity. With a fluid consistency, the Schmincke lino print inks can be applied effectively to many different surfaces including paper, felt, cardboard and wood.
