It is important for kids to be able to draw, not just so that they can express themselves, but also so that they can develop their dexterity and fine motor skills that will in the long run also improve their writing. Not only that, but drawing time means concentration time. You will find that with more time spent drawing, as if by magic, your children will be able to focus on a task that requires concentration far more easily than they could before. This has great benefits for so many important areas of life, but especially for the ability to enjoy activities such as reading. As with all arts, drawing also vastly improves problem solving skills.

With this all in mind, it is always a good idea to have enough supplies at home for your children to be able to draw as much as they want. We have a range of drawing paper for kids including sheets which have a smooth and soft surface, whilst they are also heavier than standard sheets. This means that the pencil will glide over the surface with ease, whilst the sheet will also be up to sustained pressure and eraser use without ripping or crumpling up.

These will be brilliant for taking out into the garden or taking with you on a journey, so that your children can have fun creating whenever they are inspired.
