Pegasus Art sponsors the Bath Society of Artists Open exhibition 2023

Pegasus Art are proud to sponsor the Bath Society of Artists annual open exhibition 2023.

Hosted annually at the Victoria Art Gallery, the Bath Open is simply one of the finest and most respected open exhibitions in the South West. We are offering a £100 Pegasus Art Prize of art materials to one lucky winner. There are some amazing prizes on offer, so if you are keen to have your work hung in a professionally curated exhibition (non-members can enter) and get some recognition through an award, we highly recommend this show.

The Bath Society of Artists has a rich pedigree. Founded in 1904, with twenty six founder members, it has grown to a membership of 120 diverse and talented artists. The annual exhibition is open to non-members and is held for six weeks during the spring and summer. They are in good company – many distinguished 20th century painters have exhibited and taken an interest in the society including Walter Sickert, John Singer Sargent, P. Wilson Steer, Gilbert Spencer, William Scott, Patrick Heron, Mary Feddon, Adrian Heath and David Inshaw.
