Fabriano Paper

Fabriano is a company with a long and distinguished heritage. Fabriano paper dates back to 1264 and the company was praised for its fine art papers by none other than Michelangelo. The company's master craftsmen pioneered many processes that are now commonplace in paper manufacture including watermarks and surface sheet gluing using gelatine. Today Fabriano is committed to environmentally friendly practices including renewable energy and generates its own hydroelectric power.

At Pegasus Art we have an exceptional collection of Fabriano paper. This includes Fabriano 4 drawing paper in sheets and rolls which are available in different weights and sizes and in smooth and textured surfaces. We also feature Fabriano Artisco archival quality, cotton paper which is ideal for watercolours, tempura, acrylics, inks, charcoal and drawing. Fabriano 5 paper is a 50% cotton, textured variety for watercolour painting and offset litho printing. The Fabriano collection also offers superb journals and sketchbooks.

Please note that minimum orders are required for sheet papers. The required quantities vary but some papers can be mixed and matched across our range. Check the individual product listings for the details you need.

Fabriano boasts an unrivalled heritage in paper making and today the Fabriano papers offer the superior qualities you would expect from the work of a company of such standing. We are proud to feature Fabriano Papers here at Pegasus Art.
