Have fun discovering a little about the botany of flowers to help you understand their structure and notice details about their shape and pattern. 

Looking at a simple petal, you will play around with watercolour techniques such as glazing, and colour matching to build up your confidence before choosing your own flower to draw and paint.

Learn how pen work and the traditional botanical technique of stippling can aid your watercolour to show contrast, texture and shadow.
