As a painter myself, I have tried these watercolours and found the pigment quality to be excellent, with good coverage and an interesting, fresh palette. My favourite summer colours have been Mint, Ultramarine, Lavender and Naples Rose. At £3.99 for a full pan, they’re incredibly good value. As many of the colours are mono-pigmented, it means there is no muddy-ness, which is so important with watercolour. My Summer Figs painting below shows you the vividness of colour.
