Michael Harding Miracle Medium

MM0 Miracle Medium is a solvent-free, odourless, vegan, and plant-based Medium that serves as an alternative to traditional turpentine. This medium offers artists a natural and sustainable option for thinning oil paints, cleaning brushes, and glazing artworks (see our MM2 Quick Dry Dammar Varnish Miracle Medium) without the use of harsh chemicals or toxic fumes.

Michael Harding products are only for sale in the UK, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, and The Netherlands. Any orders, to destinations other than the above, will be cancelled and monies refunded in full.

Oil paint artists use MM0 Miracle Medium in several ways:

Thin the paint: MM0 Miracle Medium can be used to thin oil paint, which can make it easier to apply in thin layers, create washes, or achieve certain blending effects. Artists may dip their brush in MM0 Miracle Medium before applying it to the paint to achieve the desired consistency.

Clean brushes: MM0 Miracle Medium can be used to clean oil paint brushes. After painting, artists may rinse their brushes in MM0 Miracle Medium to remove excess paint and then wash the brushes with soap and water.

– Use as a painting medium to mix with oil paints, enhancing flow and transparency

– Clean brushes by dipping them in the medium and wiping them clean.

– Dilute or thin oil paints without the use of traditional solvents.

– Available in 100ml, 250ml and 1 Litre.

Health and Safety: Use the product under ventilated conditions, avoid eye and skin contact, and wash thoroughly after handling. Keep the container closed and upright to prevent leakage. No product should be released to the environment.

The product is labelled as non-hazardous, but precautions should be taken to avoid ingestion, contact with eyes and skin, and to wash thoroughly after handling. It is not intended for spray application or operations that generate dust or airborne concentrations.

In case of exposure, remove to fresh air, wash the affected area with soap and water, or flush eyes with water for 15 minutes. If irritation occurs or ingestion happens, contact a physician.

Please note that although our product is not harmful to humans, it is an ester. Therefore, we kindly request that it is not placed in polystyrene cups.

Handling and Storage: Use the product under ventilated conditions, avoid eye and skin contact, and wash thoroughly after handling. Keep the container closed and upright. Store between 50-100 degrees Fahrenheit, ideally 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

No dangerous reactions are known under normal use conditions. The product is chemically stable and no hazardous decomposition products are known.

No harmful effects are known when the product is used according to specifications. It is not expected to be harmful to the environment, and no significant effects on aquatic organisms are expected.

This product is not flammable. In the event of a fire use water, foam, carbon dioxide, or dry chemical equipment to extinguish any potential fire.
