Da Vinci Series 5023 MAESTRO 2 - Long Flat Brushes - Hog Bristle
MAESTRO 2 Da Vinci Series 5023 Long Flat Bristle Brushes for large area painting.
The care and attention to detail in the making of the Maestro 2 bristle brushes perfectly demonstrates the best traditions of craftsmanship combined with the clever technical advances from the famous brush company Da Vinci, founded in the 19th Century.
The ‘Long Flat’ shape is a popular brush shape for painting large areas. The interlocking of the bristles ensures strong , long lasting brushes with good bounce and pliability. Another sign of quality with the Da Vinci Maestro 2 bristle brushes is the deep implantation of the filaments into each ferrule ensuring a stable, firm shape.
Our testing of the Maestro 2 hog bristle brushes shows good paint holding capacity and the ability for each brush to hold its shape when used for scrubbing and dabbing.
Da Vinci use Chungking bristles in the manufacture of Maestro 2 brushes which are white and especially strong and will cope with intensive use. The bristles are named after the Chinese city of Chungking. Bristle brushes tend to show the painterly paint marks and can be used for oil paints, acrylic paints as well as being popular for fresco and mural painting.
