In 1881 chemists Josef Horadam and Hermann Schmincke met each other through their wives and began a joint enterprise. They searched for and found traditional resin-oil paint recipes which were to become the basis of their range. Watercolours were then formulated and added to the range which was expanded over the years to encompass a fine selection of colours, mediums and artists materials. Schmincke gained a reputation for superior products and this family run business has always remained true to its goal of producing premium, benchmark products.

AEROCOLOUR professional liner pens are new from Schmincke. These refillable liner pens can be filled with any of the 36 standard shades of AEROCOLOUR professional acrylic ink. There are six pens with three different nib shapes which can be used to create outlines of various widths. Replacement nibs are available to ensure that the pens offers the maximum versatility.
