Pegasus Prize at Raw Talent, New Brewery Arts

For the first time, Pegasus Art provided two prizes for the biennial Raw Talent exhibition at New Brewery Arts. This is exactly the kind of event that we like to support as it celebrates all the wonderful artwork and sculpture that has been created by students and tutors throughout the year. As a significant art supplies retailer and workshop provider in the region, we were delighted to be asked to support this exhibition in the lovely old brewery building.
Winners of the Pegasus Prize £50 art materials voucher were Millie E (Young Artists section aged 13 – 16) who painted this gorgeous ‘Tiger’ and Lucy Walshe for her very fine ‘Bumblebees’ watercolour.
Other winners include Phoebe H – Childrens Public Vote, Nicholas Arbuthnott – 2nd Place, Public Vote for his Modigliani-esque stone sculpture and Tom E who won a Special Commendation.
Congratulations to everyone who had the opportunity to exhibit their work, some for the first time, in a professional and public exhibition! Prizes were awarded by Beth Alden, CEO of New Brewery Arts.
