The watercolour paper texture is smooth having been through the hot pressing rollers, is a superb artist’s paper. 640gsm paper (300lbs) is a heavyweight watercolour paper and stretching watercolour paper of this weight is not necessary to create ideal watercolour painting conditions. Arches paper is similar to Saunders Waterford but white in colour (even whiter than Saunders Waterford High White). Like Saunders Waterford, Arches papers are 100% cotton, have a consistent surface for the smooth laying down of a watercolour wash. Designed for watercolour artists, consistent, highly regarded and of archival quality; more pricey than some other watercolour papers but artists who use this paper feel it is worth the price.. Arches is a French company, around since the 15th Century so they have had plenty of practice. You will notice a definite difference if you have never used paper of this quality before. As a pure cotton product, mould-made in the traditional way, Arches watercolour paper has a natural grain resembling handmade paper, the rough texture surface is immensely popular and encourages the formation of interesting painterly brush strokes.
The manufacturing process produces a stable strong paper, whose basic form is not significantly changed when wet, because of the excellent distribution of its long cotton fibres. Natural gelatine is used for sizing giving Arches Watercolor papers outstanding resistance to scratching and also boast unique sizing using natural gelatine, giving the paper incomparable resistance to scratching.

Delivery is charged as priced on each order (International delivery exceptions apply).
Standard Delivery: We aim to process and dispatch orders within two days. However at peak order times this may not always be possible so please allow 3-5 days for processing. Deliveries outside of UK will take longer to arrive at their destination.
If you are unavailable when our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop a card in to offer you a collection from a local collection point. If you should refuse delivery of goods, or are not available to accept the delivery on both delivery attempts, you will be required to cover any extra costs incurred.

If your return is approved, we will initiate an immediate exchange or refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
Shipping
Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.
Products returned by you within the seven-day cooling-off period will be refunded in full, including the cost of sending the item to you. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
