All abilities welcome, working from your own images
Building up layers and tone through charcoal or graphite, you can get to grips with sea, cliffs and sky – everything that makes up a coastal landscape.
Working from photographs of coastal scenes, come away with a finished coastal landscape to be proud of! Learn how to use this medium to create dynamic drawings – exploring tonal values from bright seas to moody headlands. You will discover a wealth of techniques that enable you to describe sea and land. Create textures and enjoy the pleasure of achieving atmospheric skies. Make broad and loose marks alongside more detailed drawing and enjoy the blackest of blacks!

About Wendy
Wendy has taught for over 25 years in Gloucestershire and brings an enormous wealth of experience of teaching courses in her specialist areas of drawing and creativity. Wendy also teaches printmaking courses at Gloucestershire Printmaking Co-operative and she writes for the RE magazine, Printmaking Today. She attended UWE, Bristol, where she completed her MA in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking. This was followed by her practice-led doctoral research that asked questions of the material and experiential links between etching and drawing. Wendy is an RWA artist network member and a member of Insight Printmakers.
Recommended Equipment List
The shop will be open from 9am, so you will have time to purchase materials before the workshop.
All students will need to bring the following materials;

• Landscape photos – You may like to print up to 3 x A4 size in black and white (or greyscale) – you could do this on your home printer. Also a good selection of landscape photos on your laptop, tablet or smartphone
• A putty or kneadable eraser and one Staedtler Hard Plastic Eraser or one Factis Softer Plastic Eraser S20 https://www.pegasusart.co.uk/staedtler-mars-plastic-eraser.ir
•If you have a sketchbook that contains some landscape sketches it would be a good idea to bring it along https://www.pegasusart.co.uk/paper-sketchbooks.irc
• Please bring a packed lunch, snacks and water with you. We will supply tea and coffee throughout the day.

Free UK Mainland Delivery on Orders Over £50*
*except 225cm, 250cm, 275cm,300cm stretcher bars, rolls of canvas, large easels.
Delivery is charged as priced on each order (International delivery exceptions apply).
Standard Delivery: We aim to process and dispatch orders within two days. However at peak order times this may not always be possible so please allow 3-5 days for processing. Deliveries outside of UK will take longer to arrive at their destination.
If you are unavailable when our delivery partner tries to deliver your order, they will usually try to deliver again the next working day or they will drop a card in to offer you a collection from a local collection point. If you should refuse delivery of goods, or are not available to accept the delivery on both delivery attempts, you will be required to cover any extra costs incurred.

Click and collect is available at our Stroud shop. Please await our confirmation email before collecting. Proof of order required to pick up goods.

Returns
We hope you are very happy with every purchase from Pegasus Art however if you are not entirely satisfied we are here to help.
Please contact us by phone or email on info@pegasusart.co.uk. This is so one of our staff can determine whether you would like to return the product for a refund or exchange the product.
Returns
You have 28 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.
Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
Once we have received your item and inspected it we will contact you.
If your return is approved, we will initiate an immediate exchange or refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
Shipping
Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to us.
Products returned by you within the seven-day cooling-off period will be refunded in full, including the cost of sending the item to you. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
