Golden is a brand that is respected in the artist community. Sam Golden started developing acrylics in 1930 and by the 1940's was supplying artists including Jackson Pollock, William de Kooning, Mark Rothco and Helen Frankenthaler. These artist paints have no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners or dyes. Manufacturered in a centre of excellence these are reliable, lightfast, long-lasting, permanent artist acrylics, known for their smooth, thick consistency.
Unique to Golden is their Neutral Gray selection which can adjust value and chroma without altering hue, a useful tool for an artist. The Iridescent range offer radiance and luster. The Interference range a wonderful 'flip' pearlescent change of colour depending on the under paint colour.
