Spectrum Spectrum Acrylic Gesso Primer is a opaque, flexible white primer with a chalky consistency. If you prime your canvas or wood with this you will find the finish has a matt, soft chalky texture surface.
With your first coat, dilute the gesso primer with 10% water. Follow this with at least two coats of undiluted gesso primer.
A good surface for either acrylic paints or oil paints.
