Fine Modelling Paste for use with artist quality watercolours
Developed by Schmincke, the first compatible mediums exclusively for watercolour
his modelling paste allows for three dimensional work, structure effects with watercolour.
Apply the paste with a painting knife or spatula and paint over it with watercolour when dry. The paste can also be tinted with watercolour if required.
Drying times vary depending on the thickness of the paste. Thin layers not more than 1mm can be painted over after 2 to 4 hours. Thicker layers (up to about 5mm) need to dry for about 24 hours.
It is possible to reduce the drying time a little using a hairdryer.
