Poppy Oil is a delicate pale colour, thinner than linseed oil.
It has a longer drying time of 4 to 5 days and dries with a more matt finish.
Advantageous to use when painting alla prima (made in one sitting) and with lighter colours.
Alkali Refined Poppy oil gives a soft buttery texture to oil paints.
