Linen textured paper in a convenient block for oil painting is provided by Clairefontaine in their quality oil painting pads.
Each painting paper block is glued on four sides making a stable, easy to use textured paper pad for oil paint. Once your oil painting is complete just remove the linen paper carefully - a craft knife or long nail is all that is necessary.
The linen texture is an ideal alternative to canvas, providing an excellent surface bond with oil paint, turpentine or the eco-friendly alternative zest it.
